Branding & website creation – Ginger Home Design
This was the first major project I’ve done for myself: creating a brand from scratch.
Ginger Home Design is an interior design consultancy brand that needed a casual, yet professional identity to inspire trust, technical abilities, good taste and a friendly approach. I started with the branding part: finding a personal name because the designer was also the face of the brand. The logo had to be some kind of signature, that was the idea behind the typography.
The website creation started after finding and buying the theme, which had to be visually appealing, modern and very intuitive to reflect the brand’s principles. I didn’t want anything fancy or complex, just the pages that can answer to: who? what? how? how can I find you? I edited the theme according to my needs and left everything else to social media.
After making sure that it had all the UX/UI checkboxes ticked, my main concern was copywriting. I left a recognizable mark through my words, as a trace to the casual interior design style. I also wrote various articles in a SEO-friendly matter so that Google can index the website better. The final touch was making sure that all texts had CTAs, in order to help the user through its journey.
